Engraving - Repairs - Machine Servicing - Product Sourcing - Artwork Production
The Roland EGX-20 has been around for longer than I have been in the engraving industry! Some machines will be up to around 20 years old! It's important to look after your EGX-20 in order to ensure it keeps going well.
I often hear from customers that they have never changed the engraving cutter! The cutter is the part that touches the material, it's the bit that does the engraving, so if it's in poor condition or damaged, your engraving result will also be poor. Not only that, it can also lead to other problems.
It is common that you will get used to a bad noise, or poor engraving quality but why put up with it? Your engraving quality is a representation of you and your business so why not make sure you are doing everything you can to ensure a good quality finish.
If you use your Roland EGX-20 regularly, it would be highly advisable to have it serviced now and again. Given the age of these machines, once a year would be sensible. You will be pleasantly surprised how well the machine will run after a service! Please get in touch for any engraving machine help you may need.
If your Roland EGX-20 is suddenly not engraving it could be caused by a number of things. A change of operating system or even a windows update can cause errors and more often than not this can be solved remotely via a phone call or remote access to your pc. Due to modern technology and our flexible approach, we are able to offer remote support at a time that suits you, wherever you are in the world. Remote support for the EGX-20 is charged at £59 per hour and is billed, rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes.
If you have recently noticed your engraving machine making an unusual noise, or you notice lights flashing that you don't normally see, it is likely the fault will need to be looked at in person by one of our engineers.
We use and supply genuine Roland EGX-20 parts and spares
